The Internet Raised a Lot of Actors: Real Life Humbles the Cast

Somebody in my comments said, “If it was a white guy, you’d be singing a different tune.”
It’s funny how some folks swear up and down that every little situation with a Black man would “go different” if race was flipped.
No, it wouldn’t.
If it had been a white dude who tapped my car door, he’d probably apologize. Simple. I’d nod, he’d go about his day, I’d go about mine.
Real life isn’t Twitter.
Most of these people only act tough behind a profile pic. Out here? They smile, they say “my bad,” and they keep it moving. Because when you’re 6-foot, 200-plus, and standing right there, they remember manners real quick.
That whole “aggressive Black man” thing they sell online is projection. In person, they know better. They know how fast one dumb decision can wreck their life.
And that’s the part people miss about pragmatism—it’s not about being scared. It’s about being grounded.
You don’t respond to fantasy with emotion. You respond to reality with control.
