The Cleveland show is a TV show about a guy that marries the woman that friend-zoned him
He runs into her after years of not seeing her, it stirs up old feelings. He finds out she popped out kids, she isn’t married & their biological father is not around (Both her Cleveland have a ton of baggage by the way).
This show has always been ironic because it’s written by white men, it was created by white men, and the main character Cleveland is played by a white man. So white guys made an animated TV show, accurate in the storytelling of the average black man. Cleveland isn’t just a simp, he’s a henpecked simp with very low self-esteem. He did not get any respect from his ex-wife (Loretta) who cheated on him, or Donna (his current wife). Donna constantly disrespects him, he never checked her, and her kids disrespect him too. They treat him like the cornball he is.
One episode of this show, the first episode is all you’ll need to watch to see what I mean.
