It’s a Matter of Preference Nothing More or Less.
I’m sick of sub elitist commenting that subs are better when I’ve watched both, and it’s just a matter of preference.
I grew up where only subs were the option, now that there’s a lot of dub options, I know for a fact that dub actors put in just as much effort in their acting as sub actors. We’re talking about the same emotional scenes, raw emotions, character lines, putting everything into getting their characters right. Dub actors have stepped their game up & I stand on what I said.
I prefer dub over sub because their actors actually sound different, they put so much more base in their voices, conviction, raw emotion. Strong emotion. Erin’s charge in AoT rivals “we will not go quietly into the night” in Independence Day. Mike Zacharia’s death was traumatizing in dub, it’s not the same in sub. Armin’s death, there was so much emotion in his reaction, in all of their reaction’s. So it’s all a matter of preference. You don’t see what I’m saying because you’re a sub elitist, I don’t hear what you’re saying because I’m a dub elitist. But we can agree on one thing, the anime we watch is dope as fuck & it won’t matter who’s voicing shitting anime, it’s gonna suck no matter what.
