When people say the shield doesn’t deserve to be number faction or on the list with groups like DX, 4 Horsemen or NWO this is pretty much my response
They had no leader, the NWO started with middle-aged dudes past their prime. AND they buried younger talent.
The Shield is relevant. They’re not the same as the other stables. They’re solid workers good or bad. They don’t start the show with long-winded 20-minute promos, like NWO or DX. No crapy backstage comedy skits like them either. 3 young talented guys just going out kicking ass, because they’re good wrestlers. Their actions spoke louder than words. They’re a darker trio than any other group on the faction list. They beat up wrestlers that internet fans got tired of seeing in the main event. Like; The Undertaker, John Cena, Cm Punk, HHH, Batista, Randy Orton, Ryback, The Rock. Kane, Daniel Bryan.
Dx also did a blackface skit, mocking the nation of domination, that was racist, but people won’t bring that up.
Let’s point out a popular group like the new day, who to be honest, they’re better than the Shield, let’s bring up the new days mannerisms & overlook their talent. They’re also top merch sellers and relevant, but this ain’t about them.
The NWO only put over the old wrestlers. Name a younger talent they put over that’s still relevant today. All 3 members of the shield are main eventers. WWE built up all 3 members, all 3 members are triple crown champions. Can you say that about every member of any other faction on the list? I’ll wait.
