Ice Cube was Trending all over Social Media Yesterday; Supporters of the DNC tried to Cancel Ice Cube After He Says He Talked to Trump’s Campaign about the CWBA
Blerd Vision- The Contract With Black America (CWBA) is something Ice Cube has been working on for months since neither the Democratic or Republican party came up with a plan for Black Americans. Ice Cube used his voice to negotiate something for the votes of Black Americans because let’s face it, Presidential candidates never have Black people in mind for the black vote but, like to pander for the Black vote. Ice Cube in a video on twitter voiced his distrust for Presidents since none of them have done right by Black people. All other groups are promised something for their votes & are at the top. Black people, on the other hand, are at the bottom like always.
Presidential candidates make promises towards minorities or people of color (POC), but that doesn’t necessarily include or specifically mean Black people, especially Foundational Black Americans. If Presidential candidates want the Black vote, they’re going to have to role out ads & policies specifically for Black people, specifically stating for Black people, not minorities or people of color. You’re not pandering for minority votes with cultural appropriating dances & talking slag to minorities, you’re doing the nae nae & you have hot sauce in your bag toward Black people, you expect Black people to vote for you off of pandering. Black people have had it up to their necks with the pandering, that’s part of the reason Hilary Clinton lost the 2016 election & it will be the downfall of the Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Some people think Ice Cube is being used by Trump in order to secure the Black vote, implying Trump will say anything & then renege on his promise. Ice Cube is nobody’s pawn, he knows what he’s doing as he stated in this interview with TMZ
People are mad at Ice Cube for asking important questions relating to Black people. If we vote for these candidates, what are they going to do? Police Brutality had a light shined on it during Obama’s run, thanks to more advanced technology. People began taking out their phones & recording it. Nothing has changed since Trump has been in office either.
All Ice Cube was trying to do was use his voice to bring awareness & make them bring something to the table.
