I’m watching the Mask, an all-time classic, an all-time favorite for me.
Stanley is a simp without the Mask while Stanley with the Mask does whatever he wants.
Stanley gets played by all the women he had an interest in throughout the whole movie.
First, by the average-looking shawty, Maggie, who after he got her some concert tickets, she wanted to take her friend more than go with him. I don’t think she wanted to go with him at all even though he acquired the tickets (the nerve of her). But, hey, that comes with being a simp, women use simps.
Then he got played by Peggy, a reporter who one time published his article “nice guys finish last”, and even said a lot of women were looking for a guy like him and said how hard it was to find a decent guy, & that she was one of the women looking for a guy like him, but, when he needed help at a desperate time, she betrayed him for money.
Lastly, Tina, which I’m gonna argue she set him up to get caught, but he’s such a simp that it’s his fault in the first place. Subtly revealing his identity, meeting her in the park (which was probably Dorian’s idea).
