Political Mercenary: My Vote Goes to Whoever Delivers Reparations — No Party Loyalty Required

They keep calling me “left” like I signed up for a party card. Wrong. I’m not left, not right — I’m a political mercenary.

I don’t move for colors, mascots, or party slogans. I move for results. If a politician — red, blue, green, whatever — says they’ll deliver reparations for Black people, that’s where my vote goes. Period.

I voted Jill Stein in 2016 because she promised reparations. If Trump had made that promise, I’d have voted Trump. If Bernie had, Bernie. If Biden or Kamala had, them too. It’s not about who they are — it’s about what they’ll do.

That’s how independents think. That’s how mercenaries think. Parties want loyalty for free — I want compensation for my vote. No promises? No support.

So stop trying to label me. I’m not “left.” I’m not “right.” I’m a free agent, and I’ll only sign when the contract benefits me and my people.
