Hila Klein has filed for divorce from Ethan Klein, TMZ reported on November 2, 2026, ten days after she publicly accused him of a months-long affair.
The filing lists their marriage date as October 10, 2012, and their separation date as October 13, 2026 — three days after their 14th wedding anniversary. Hila is asking for joint custody of their three sons, Theodore, 7, Bruce, 4, and Sunny, 2, as well as spousal support. She is also asking for Ethan to pay her legal fees and for her maiden name, Hacmon, to be restored. She is represented by divorce attorney Laura Wasser, according to TMZ and Page Six.
The filing is the legal step that followed her October 23 Instagram statement. In it, Hila said she had been “fed lie after lie after lie for months” and that Ethan had been having an affair. She said she raised her concerns for months and was met with “dismissive answers and no action.” She said the story changed in stages — first just a kiss, then emotional cheating — before, in her account, Ethan admitted to an affair lasting more than six months, the full extent of which she said she still did not know.
Ethan has not directly addressed the affair allegations publicly. He asked for privacy for his family and said he is working with Hila to remove his ownership and financial stakes from the H3 Podcast, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow, and their other joint ventures, so the money flows to Hila and the crew rather than to him.
The podcast crew cut ties with him. In a statement, the crew said they were “shocked, angry, and heartbroken,” that they stand with Hila, and that they would not continue working with Ethan involved or profiting in any way. The H3 Podcast went on indefinite hiatus on October 22, hours before Hila’s statement.
What the filing does not settle is the money. No spousal support figure is reported, no property split is reported, and no custody schedule beyond the joint-custody request is reported. Those are requests in a filing, not a final order — and the filing itself is what is new. The statement was her telling it. The filing is her moving it into court.
