He Told the Court She Cheated. Then Both Sides Agreed It Never Happened.

Patrick and Thais Mendes are officially divorced. The decree was filed October 27 in Nevada District Court, five months after Patrick filed in May — and it closes a case where the loudest accusation never survived its own filing.

Patrick filed a motion alleging Thais had an affair that came to light in April. Then the motion was stricken — after both legal teams agreed the allegations were inaccurate. Her attorney told TMZ the claims had been included in error.

An affair accusation went into a court filing. Then both sides agreed it wasn’t true. That’s the whole story, and it’s the part nobody will remember when they retell this divorce.

The road here

Patrick filed for divorce in May 2026 after four years of marriage. The couple separated in early May; Patrick moved out of their Las Vegas home on or about May 6.

Weeks later, on May 22, an altercation at the home led to Thais’s arrest for alleged domestic battery. Prosecutors later decided not to pursue the charges.

Then came the affair motion — filed, then stricken, then agreed by both sides to be inaccurate. The decree that followed was stipulated, meaning agreed: both sides signed off, after taking part in Family Mediation Center services.

The decree, line by line

Joint legal and joint physical custody of their daughter Aleesi, who is about to turn four, on a precise two-week rotation. Week one: Thais has her from Saturday at noon through Wednesday at 5 p.m.; Patrick has her from Wednesday at 5 p.m. through Sunday at noon. Week two: Thais has her from Sunday at noon through Wednesday at 5 p.m.; Patrick has her from Wednesday at 5 p.m. through Saturday at noon. Then it repeats.

Child support is set at $0.00 — because Patrick covers the childcare costs, which exceed what his support obligation would have been.

No alimony. Thais gets the 2022 Tesla Model Y, with Patrick required to sign the title over within 12 months. Patrick keeps the 2006 Honda Ridgeline. Each keeps their own bank accounts and retirement plans. Each is solely responsible for debts in their own name — which matters, because the couple carried $240,000 in debt, most of it Patrick’s.

And one rule that tells you everything about where this marriage ended up: neither parent can take Aleesi outside the United States without the other’s written consent, with a full itinerary and emergency contacts provided in advance. Both parents have to cooperate on her passport.

Neither Patrick nor Thais had publicly posted a statement about the decree at the time of reporting.
