SHE WANTS CUSTODY — AND NEITHER OF THEM GETS A DIME.

Mia Goth filed for divorce from Shia LaBeouf on October 6 in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences and listing July 28, 2025 as the separation date.

She wants primary legal and physical custody of their 4-year-old daughter, with visitation for him. That’s the custody ask. But the money ask is the one that stops you cold: she asked the court to terminate its authority to award spousal support to either party. Not to him. Not to her. To nobody.

They met filming Nymphomaniac in 2012 and married in Las Vegas in October 2016. They split once before, in 2018, and reconciled. Their daughter was born in March 2022. The filing came one day after LaBeouf settled his separate civil dispute with ex FKA twigs, who asked for the case to be dismissed with prejudice.

Nothing in the filing is granted yet — every request is still subject to a judge’s review. But the move itself is the story.

Most celebrity divorces open with a number. Hers opened with a door closing. No spousal support war, no monthly check to fight over for the next decade, no leverage to trade the kid against. Just custody, decided on its own.

It’s the anti-Sia. And whether you love her or can’t stand her, you have to admit: it’s the cleanest divorce filing in Hollywood this year.
